Pediatric & Preventive Dentistry

Established in 1995 for undergraduate and in 2006 for postgraduate education, the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry is dedicated to fostering the dental health of children. We offer 5 postgraduate seats each year, training specialists in pediatric dental care.

Our Department provides tailored dental services for differently-abled children, ensuring that all patients receive compassionate and comprehensive care. Our faculty is committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child can receive the attention they need.

With a total of 30 postgraduate students having successfully graduated from our program, we emphasize preventive care and education, equipping future dentists with the skills necessary to promote oral health from an early age. Our department is a leader in pediatric dentistry, dedicated to shaping healthier futures for children through innovative practices and community outreach.

The Department of Periodontics and Oral Implantology is an educational, research and service orientated center. Our mission is:

• To provide comprehensive periodontal care with rigorous quality assurance and patient satisfaction
• To engage in clinically oriented research and scholarly activity, creating a rich environment for evidence-based education and environment care
• To educate and train undergraduate and postgraduate students in didactic and clinical applications with lifelong learning experience in dental health care delivery
• To create an atmosphere that is suitable for patients and students
• To outreach the patients of the most remote area through various community-based programs
