The objective of this program is to train and educate healthcare professionals in the specialized field of emergency and trauma care. The program aims to equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and technical expertise needed to effectively respond to and manage critical medical situations, particularly those involving life-threatening injuries or sudden severe illnesses.
Enhancing Clinical Skills: Providing students with hands-on training and simulation exercises to enhance their clinical skills in assessing and managing emergency and trauma cases. This may involve teaching techniques for airway management, intravenous access, wound care, fracture stabilization, and other critical procedures.
Improving Decision-making Abilities: Teaching students to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure, as time is often of the essence in emergency situations.
Developing Communication and Teamwork: Emphasizing the importance of clear communication and effective teamwork among healthcare providers, as emergency and trauma care often involve multidisciplinary collaboration.
Promoting Efficient Triage: Instructing students in the process of triaging patients based on the severity of their injuries or illnesses, ensuring that those in the most critical condition receive immediate attention.
Familiarity with Technology and Equipment: Training students in the use of advanced medical equipment and technology commonly used in emergency and trauma care settings, such as defibrillators, cardiac monitors, ventilators, and more.

Science Graduates with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are eligible. Admissions to the courses will be governed by the conditions laid down by the University from time to time and as published in the Regulations for admissions each year.
Duration of the Course: 4 Years (3 years + 1 year Internship)
Internship wherever specified are integral part of the course and needs to be done in Santosh Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad itself.
First-year -Theory classes and Practicals of the following subjects:

Quality Assurance & Accreditation
During the first year, the students will have didactic lectures in the medical college from 10 am to 4 pm.
Second year-Theory class and posting in the Emergency Medicine Department.
Third year- Theory class and posting in the Emergency Medicine, ICU, and Emergency Medical Transport.
Fourth Year- Internship in the clinical area.
