Message from the Dean – Allied Health Sciences & Paramedical

The Faculty of Allied Health Sciences & Paramedical at Santosh Deemed to be University is actively embracing the transformative vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which calls for multidisciplinary integration, flexible learning pathways, and research-driven education. As healthcare becomes increasingly complex and interconnected, our responsibility is to prepare graduates who are not only clinically proficient but also capable of critical inquiry, digital adaptability, and compassionate care.

We are building an academic ecosystem that empowers students through skill-based, experiential learning while fostering curiosity and ethical reasoning. Our programs are aligned with the evolving expectations of national accrediting bodies and global benchmarks, ensuring relevance and excellence in every domain we serve. A significant thrust is placed on translational research and innovation that directly addresses public health challenges and contributes meaningfully to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—particularly those related to good health and well-being, quality education, and gender equity.

We continue to foster academic-industry-clinical partnerships, encourage faculty development, and support a robust research culture that advances not just knowledge, but also impact. Together, we aim to position Allied Health Sciences as a critical pillar in the reimagination of integrated, people-centered healthcare.
