Cologne & Paris Academic Tour | March 23–29, 2025

Students and faculty from Santosh Deemed to be University recently returned from a truly enriching international academic tour that seamlessly combined education, cultural immersion, and global exposure.

The journey began on 23rd March with the group’s arrival in Paris, where excitement filled the air. Participants explored the city’s timeless charm through visits to iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum, experiencing firsthand the artistic and historical richness of the French capital.

The following day was dedicated to discovering Paris’s historical and spiritual heritage. The group visited the magnificent Notre-Dame Cathedral, admiring its stunning Gothic architecture and soaking in its serene and spiritual ambiance.

On the 26th of March, the focus shifted to academics with participation in the IDS Conference, which proved to be an inspiring and insightful experience. Surrounded by leading professionals and cutting-edge innovations in dental science, students and faculty attended multiple enlightening sessions that broadened their clinical and technological perspectives.

Key hands-on learning experiences included:

• Practical training in proximal stripping, emphasizing precision and advanced dental techniques
• Visits to CAD-CAM facilities and hands-on Digital Intra-Oral Scanner stations
• Interactive sessions on Dental Microscopes in Endodontics, showcasing enhanced visual performance in dental fillings

The tour concluded in Cologne, where the group visited a breathtaking cathedral, followed by a guided walking tour of the historic old town, offering a perfect blend of architectural beauty, history, and cultural insight.

This international academic tour was a memorable experience, leaving participants inspired, globally aware and academically enriched.
