They say all our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them. Santosh Deemed to be University having completed more than 25 impactful years and still counting in its journey has created many memorable days, events and achieved many heights.
Today 6th April 2022 was another memorable day as we had amongst us one of our distinguished Alumni of Santosh Batch 1996-97 Dr. Shobhit Madan (MBBS, MD, MPH US). He is a renowned preventive Cardiologist with Super Specialization in Paediatric and Adult Cardiac Imaging from the University of Pittsburgh, Public Health and Clinical Research Professional based in the US. His passion includes empowering and educating students, professionals and communities about preventive, chronic diseases like Metabolic Syndrome, Cancer and Dementia through an intentional and professionally guided mentorship. He is currently leading a 36 million Dollar, Cardiac Stent clinical trial as Global Clinical Project Manager at IQVIA, USA.
He shared his journey and the aspirations for realistic goals through career guidance — Skills, Strategies & Solutions and his experience and wisdom was a true inspiration and motivation to our students as they were enlightened with career paths they could choose to walk on and work hard to achieve their goals. A large number of students attended his session and the interactive session at the end proved to be helpful. It was indeed an insightful session as he was able to set the ball rolling in the young minds of our students.
Our honourable Vice Chancellor Dr Tripta Bhagat Madam presented a momento as a token of appreciation to honour Dr Shobhit Madan.
