4th National Oral Pathologists Day

Department of Oral Pathology & Microbiology celebrated the 4th National Oral Pathologists Day on 25th February 2023 in Santosh Dental College and Hospital on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Senior Oral Pathologist Dr. H.M. Dholakia. The program was conducted to create awareness about the scope of this branch amongst the undergraduate students and interns.More than 150 undergraduate students, post graduates students, interns and faculty members attended the Inaugural function including the Dean and various head of the departments. Around 80 students participated in various cultural events such as Doodle competition, Mandala art competition and Rangoli making competition.A guest lecture was organized for the BDS 3rd year undergraduate students by Dr. Anshi Jain, ITS Dental College, Muradnagar on the topic “Unveiling the diversities of Oral lesion through microscopic analysis of pathology”.It was a day long programme conducted in the Basement LT, Santosh Dental College followed by felicitation of faculty judges and prize distribution for all the events.
