On 31st August 2021, the Department of Orthodontics hosted an Alumni Meet to celebrate the festival of togetherness, “The Retraction”. The function started with the chief guest of honor, Dr. Dakshina Bisht, director, and Dr. Sanjay Labh, head of IQAC. We also had a special alumni, Dr. Bhavna, who traveled from Prayagraj to participate in the event. She is a Professor & HOD of Dental Surgery at Motilal Nehru college of dental sciences, Prayagraj. A scientific session was followed by Saraswati Vandana and lamp lightening and inauguration. With the blessing of Goddess Saraswati, everyone moved done memory lane through the presentation Yaadein. Then Dr. Rajiv Ahluwalia took us through the journey of growth of the Department of Orthodontics. A fun interactive game tombola followed the event; later, the alumni shared their stories and experiences as post-grad students. In the end, this beautiful event was followed by a Vote of thanks, Cake cutting, and Lunch. The alumni meeting was a huge success. We intend to host more such interactive sessions in the future.
