Awareness session on World Cancer Day

Santosh deemed to be University, Ghaziabad organized an awareness session on World Cancer Day on 4 February 2023 . Theme was “Close the care gap”.Event was executed at Behrampur village, Ghaziabad.The post graduate students in the department highlighted the importance of this day and the theme of this year.The interns posted in the department delivered a health talk which included signs, symptoms, causes and preventive measures of Lung cancer, Oral cancer, Breast cancer and cervical cancer.We also talked about misconceptions and myths related to cancer in the society and simplified doubts of people.Everyone present at the event listened to the health talk with concentration and interest.More than 100 people were present at the and many staff members also attended the event.
