Santosh Dental College organized conference on Bioethics in Dentistry from 19th to 21st April 2023. Under the esteemed guidance of Dean Dental Dr. Akshay Bhargava Sir and Dean Student Welfare Dr. Rajiv Ahluwalia Sir, a debate competition was organized on 20/4/23. The organizing team members for this event were Dr. Amit Garg, Dr. Chetna and Dr. Shristi Agarwal. There were 13 participants in preliminary round who were given various topics to speak against and in favor of the motion.. The participants were judged on different grounds such as relevance, uniqueness, effectiveness and the ability to defend the topic. Out of 13 participants, 4 were selected for the final round. On 21st April 2023, the final round took place at Maharaja Hall where the 4 finalists were divided into 2 groups and were given a topic to speak for and against the motion. The winners of the debate competition were BDS students Sia Saxena and Labhanshi. The judges were Dr Puneet Kumar & Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta for the preliminary round and Dr Priyanka Aggarwal & Dr Nishant Gupta for the final round. The winners were felicitated at Maharaja Hall on 21st April 2023.
