Clinico pathological conference-Department of Pathology and Dermatology

The Department of Pathology and Dermatology came together to conduct an inter-departmental case meet in the form of a Clinico-Pathological Conference. This event provided a platform for post-graduates from both departments to present clinical cases and discuss their histopathological correlations. The conference took place on March 2nd, 2023, at the first-floor demonstration room in Santosh Hospital.The conference featured a clinical case presentation by Dr. Sheraun and Dr. Saema, Junior Residents from the Dermatology department, followed by a pathological presentation by Dr. Geetanjali and Dr. Sumit, Junior Residents from the Pathology department. The expert panel for discussion included Dr. V.K. Garg, Dr. Gulshant Panesar, Dr. Swati Singh, and Dr. Priya Bhardwaj.The conference had 30 participants, including faculty and students from both departments. The event was effective in promoting mentorship, skilled presentation, and discussion, with active student participation that was thought-provoking. The conference also provided an opportunity for post-graduates to present cases and participate in effective discussions. The event was organized with no expenditure incurred.
