Conference Organized by ISCKRS (Indian Society of Cornea & Keratorefractive Surgeons)

Department of Ophthalmology, Santosh Medical College & Hospital participated in the conference organized by ISCKRS (Indian Society of Cornea & Keratorefractive Surgeons) held from 11th to 13th August 2023 at Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.Participants included Dr. Sarita Aggarwal (HOD), PGs (Dr. Kashish, Dr. Poonam, Dr. Madhu, Dr. Acid, Dr. Vaishnavi, Dr. Pulkit & Dr. Mishika) & Mr. Ayub Ali(Assistant professor, Optometry).Dr. Sarita Aggarwal was appointed as an instructor in phacoemulsification and keratoplasty wet lab sessions.Dr. Poonam, Dr. Acid & Dr. Madhu participated in the paper presentation which was highly appreciated by all. The participation of PG students from Santosh Medical College in the paper presentation was acknowledged by all since they were the only PGs who presented papers at this super specialty conference.

All the PGs participated in the e-poster presentation. There were 13 e-posters out of which 8 were from our college.

The conference was very informative and provided hands-on training to the PGs.The event was highly appreciated by all .
