Student Welfare Section organized CURTAIN RAISER 2k23 on 7th of November,2023(Tuesday) at Santosh Deemed To be University. The event was started with a welcome speech followed by a token of gratitude given to the respected leadership team by the students.
Later, the event proceeded by taking a moment to reflect on the achievements of the outgoing team i.e., the STUDENT COUNCIL 2022-23. They have exhibited unwavering dedication, passion, and commitment in their roles. So, we expressed our gratitude by felicitating the outgoing team for their remarkable contribution by a memento. The leadership team felicitated the secretaries and co-secretaries of the respective committees followed by the felicitation of the Core Council members.
Later, our immediate past president Dr. Arijit Bansal delivered a thank you speech.
Then we proceeded towards the Investiture Ceremony of the Student Council 2023-24, which was done by Dr. Rajiv Ahluwalia, dean Student Welfare.
The ceremony continued with the announcement of the dates of AURA 2K23(11,12 & 13th December 2023) & logo unveiling of the same by the respected leadership team. The event was ended by a high tea.
Ceremony was graced by (Registrar) Dr. Naresh Sharma, (Dean of Student Welfare) Dr. Rajiv Ahluwalia, (Dean Dental) Dr. Akshay Bhargava, (Dean Medical) Dr. Alka Agrawal,(Dean Research) Dr. Jyoti Batra, (Director IQAC) Dr. Dakshina Bisht, Dr. Sumita Giri, Dr. Neeraj Grover, Dr. Nidhi Gupta, Dr. Natasha Gambhir. Around 200 students attended the event.
