Navratri a celebration of 9 days begins with fasting and ends with garba and dandiya fest, a same was organised at the premises of Santosh Deemed to be University, on 3rd of October by the Students Committee of the University. For the first time University had a Cultural like this which turned out into a huge success. Our Respected Leadership Team and all the students of the University enjoyed the vibe, food, music, decorations and other arrangements. The event started with Aarti and ended with lots of blaring music. It was a very much needed event for students who were not able to go home during dusshera holidays due to exams they felt home away from home.
Students were provided with dandiyas and the mouth-watering food was served. Students’ Committee of Santosh Deemed to be University Have worked really hard under the guidance of Respected Dean Student Welfare Sir, Respected Director IQAC Ma’am and Respected Dean Academics Sir and planned this whole event. Execution and success credits of the event goes to all the faculty and students who have participated.
At the end a Dandiya King and a Dandiya Queen were announced which gave the students more enthusiasm for next year, where Sweta Singh from BDS 3rdyear was the Dandiya Queen & Arjun Malik from MBBS 1st year was declared as Dandiya King.The event was binded with high security where all registration work was carried out sublimely. People managed to match the level of gujrati dandiya events they were all dressed up beautifully that was enough to create a festive vibe...The event was a perfect blend of good ambience and music.
