ECG Technique & Basics of Interpretation at National Health Skill Conclave

On 6th October 2023 Department of General Medicine, Santosh Medical College conducted a workshop on ECG Technique & Basics of Interpretation in national Health Skill Conclave 2023. The lecture was presented by Professor and Head of Department , Department of General Medicine, Dr. Ashok Kumar. The workshop started with the introduction to
ECG and basic anatomy and physiology of cardiovascular system. The lecture then progressed to outline the correct way to perform a 12 lead ECG. Dr. Ashok Kumar then told us the common artefacts in an ECG and measures to counter them .He then out a simple yet comprehensive approach to read a 12 lead ECG. The lecture then discussed some common ECG findings.
The workshop was attended by around 100 people including. undergraduates and postgraduates was very well received .
