Faculty and Non-Teaching Training Program on Plateletperesis

The Department of Immunohematology and Blood Transfusion (IHBT) organized a comprehensive training program on Plateletpheresis in collaboration with Terumo Penpol on July 27, 2023. The program was designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of faculty and non-teaching staff members in the field of apheresis technology and to facilitate successful plateletpheresis procedures. The one-day hands-on training aimed to equip participants with a deep understanding of the apheresis machine's features and functions while focusing on the proper operation and execution of plateletpheresis.

The agenda encompassed a balanced mix of theoretical sessions and practical training, which were facilitated by experts from both IHBT and Terumo Penpol.
