Dr Shalabh Gupta, Dean Academics visited Dr D.Y Patil University Navi, Mumbai on 22nd Dec-22. He visited their medical simulation laboratory and experienced different kinds of simulation exercises including Apollo, Lucina, Blue Phantom, V.R Lab, variety of endoscopic & laparoscopic Endotrainers & debriefing room. It was a 3 hours visit which was aided by the management of simulation lab. He experienced how variety of simulation based exercises help a doctor to become more skillful & before the patient is touched they are well versed with the process. He also studied the feedback mechanism and performance of the students.
