The online competition for PowerPoint presentations for postgraduate students, themed "Expressions 2024," was organized by NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Center along with Lata Mangeshkar Hospital. The competition aimed to provide a platform for postgraduate students to showcase their research, innovation, and presentation skills in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Guidelines and Criteria:

  1. Adherence to NAAC Standards: The competition adhered to the guidelines and standards set by NAAC to ensure fairness, transparency, and quality in the evaluation process.
  2. Online Format: Due to the ongoing circumstances, the competition was conducted entirely online, allowing for participation from postgraduate students across different institutions and locations.
  3. Presentation Content: Participants were required to prepare PowerPoint presentations on topics relevant to their field of study, with a focus on research findings, case studies, or innovative practices.
  4. Time Limit: Each participant was allotted a specific time slot within the designated timeframe of 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM to deliver their presentation, ensuring equal opportunity for all participants.
  5. Evaluation Criteria: Presentations were evaluated based on various criteria, including content relevance, clarity of presentation, scientific rigor, creativity, and adherence to time limits.

Participant Representation:

Dr. Renuka Yadav, representing Santosh Medical College's Department of Biochemistry, participated in the competition as a postgraduate student. Dr. Yadav showcased her research findings and innovative ideas through a well-prepared PowerPoint presentation, demonstrating her academic excellence and commitment to advancing knowledge in the field of biochemistry.

Participant Count:

A total of 50 postgraduate students participated in the online competition, representing various medical institutions and disciplines. This diverse participation contributed to the enriching exchange of ideas and perspectives during the event.
