Inauguration of National Deworming Week (01/02/24 to 10/02/24) was organized by the Department of Community Medicine, Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad on 1st February, 2024 at Champa Devi Smarak Vidyalaya, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad.
Execution:
- Inauguration of National Deworming Week was organized by The Department of Community Medicine, Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad on 1st February, 2024 at Champa Devi Smarak Vidyalaya In Collaboration with Community Health Centre, Muradnagar, Ghaziabad.
- A Deworming session was conducted under supervision of CMO (CHC, Muradnagar) and Dr. Neha Jetli (Asst. Prof., Deptt. Of Community Medicine, Santosh Medical College) by PGs and Interns posted in the department.
- The student of the school were encouraged and educated about the need of deworming, procurement of the Albendazole Tablets and benefits of deworming to their health.
- An interactive session with student was done to assess their own knowledge regarding the topic and all the questions were answered.
- The students were also encouraged to spread the knowledge among their own family members.
- Followed by all this, the students at the school were given Albendazole Tablets (400mg) under the guidance of Dr. Rajesh (CMO, CHC, Muradnagar), Dr. Ravi (MO, CHC, Muradnagar) and Dr. Neha Jetli ( Asst. Prof., Deptt. Of Community Medicine, Santosh Medical College) by PGs and Interns posted in the Deptt.
- The teachers and students were applauded for their efforts and awareness about the need for deworming .
