National Health Skill Conclave Dept of Community Medicine

National Health Skill Conclave where we recently conducted an insightful workshop on "Anticipating, preparing for, and responding to disasters." Held at Maharaja Hall, Santosh Deemed to be University on October 6th, 2023, this program was organized by the Department of Community Medicine in collaboration with Santosh Deemed To Be University.

With active participation from 1 faculty member, 1 Senior resident, 3 postgraduate students of Community Medicine, and 30 students, the workshop aimed to raise awareness about disaster anticipation, preparation, and response strategies. Notably, the session was led by Dr. Syed Hasan Nawaz Zaidi, who delved into various types of disasters, first aid administration, and emergency responses for both natural and man-made crises.

Under the coordination of Dr. Abhishek, the workshop was a highly interactive session that engaged students in discussions and practical insights. It incurred no expenditure and successfully achieved its objective of enlightening attendees on crucial disaster management techniques.
