National Patient Safety Week Celebration

National Patient Safety Week was celebrated on 16th Sep-22 from 9:00am to 11:00am by Dean Academics along with the department of OBG, Pharmacology & Paediatrics at Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad which was attended by more than 100 patients, students, interns, postgraduates & doctors. Importance of patient safety in relation to medications was emphasized by Dr. Shalabh Gupta, Dean Academics. Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology was represented by Dr. Manisha Gupta, Neelima Aggarwal & Dr. Trisha Arora who spoke on awareness in pregnant ladies. Department of Paediatrics was represented by Dr. KC Aggarwal who narrative safety of medicine in newborn. Dr. Shaktibala Dutta, Dr. Vaishali along with postgraduates from department of pharmacology depicted a role play in which various aspects of patients’ safety were shown. All the awareness lectures focused on preventing & reducing risks, errors & harm that can help to patients during the provision of healthcare. All the doctors took pledge to adopt best medication safety practices.
