National Pollution Control Day

The institution’s Innovation Council has organized an event on the occasion of National Pollution Control Day.

Arjit Bansal Welcomed all the council members and attendees for the event. Ms Indu Rani, Incubation Manager and Convener, IIC, addressed the students and introduced students Raising awareness about the importance of pollution control. Various causes and types of pollution were discussed along with the side effects of pollution like: Breathlessness, headache, mental confusion, allergies, skin diseases, aggravated asthma etc.She also introduced the MBBS and BDS students regarding IIC Committee.and told about the importance of IIC in promoting startups in the campus. In an interactive session, she informed students that IIC is guided by MoE (The Ministry of Education). Ministry of Education has established ‘MoE’s Innovation Cell’ with a purpose of systematically fostering the culture of Innovation in all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the country in order to work closely with HEIs to encourage the creative energy of our student population to work on new ideas and innovation and promote them to create start-ups and entrepreneurial ventures.MoE’s Innovation Council (MIC) focuses on creating complete ecosystem to foster the culture of Innovation across all educational institutions from idea generation to pre-incubation, incubation and graduating from the incubator as successful start-ups. MIC also works on designing ranking system to identify institutions in the forefront of innovation.

Dr. Neeti Mittal: IPR & Patent Co-ordinator, shared with students the methods and importance of protecting their innovative ideas and gave information regarding copyright registration process. She encouraged students to get copyrights for all their ideas.

Later Ms Indu Rani concluded the event by giving insights to students regarding how to control pollution what are the other ways which can help us introducing different types of pollution. Students also participated well by interacting actively, some students also volunteered and came on the stage to share their views regarding solutions to this havoc. 50 Students have attended the Event.
