SanCon, the annual educational conference conducted by Santosh Medical College Ghaziabad, was conducted on 18th and 19th November 2022. Department of Community Medicine also participated in it and discussed "Health contributions to make a developed India by 2047".
The twenty minutes session was started by Dr. Kshitij Choudhary, Assistant Professor, Dept of Community Medicine. This session was chaired by Dr. Geeta Gupta, Professor, Microbiology and Dr. Jyotsna, Professor, Pharmacology and graced by the Dean and other dignitaries of the college. The audience included medical and paramedical under and post graduate students of Santosh deemed to be University. Around 48 students attended the session along with faculty of various Departments.
The session gave an overview of the current health situation of India, the efforts of the Govt to achieve the goals of Sustainable Development by 2047. Discussion included the newer health programs and schemes launched by the Govt to reach the goal of a healthy developed nation by 2047.
