On Site Workshop on QMS and Internal Audit in Medical Labs as per ISO 15189:2012

Dr. Eram Hussain Pasha, Assistant Professor in Department of Biochemistry attended and successfully completed four days on-site training program on Quality Management system and Internal Audit in Medical labs as per ISO 15189:2012 held from 14th November to 17th November 2022. The objectives of the program were to understand and interpret the requirement of ISO 15189 and NABL 112 and be able to plan, manage, implement and lead the internal audit of Medical Laboratory. The training program was organized by Dr Neeraj Jain, Director (MELAP) and Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida.

The course is approved by QCI and accepted by NABL. The aims were to identify the purpose and interaction of a quality management system covering both managerial and technical requirements, Improve the laboratory’s operation and system and to prepare the laboratory for the NABL accreditation in a structured way. The course was followed by assignments and examination.
