Santosh Deemed to be University celebrated Republic day on 26th January 2022 , theme was “75 years of Indian Freedom Struggle” in the presence of our Vice Chancellor, Dr. Tripta S. Bhagat, Dr. ShalabhGupta (Dean Academics), Dr. Dakshina Bisht (Director IQAC), Student Core Committee members President -Ujjwal Prakash, Vice President -Dr. Shruti Chaudhari, Secretary- Dr. Sachin Sharma, Treasurer- Abhishek Jha and Non-teaching Staff and their families
The event started with flag hoisting by our respected Vice Chancellor, Dr. Tripta S. Bhagat followed by the National anthem. Our Vice Chancellor then addressed the gathering on the occasion of Republic day.The program began with Yoga including Suryanamaskar and meditation . Activities were organized for the students like Hurdle race competition in boys and girls category. Drawing and craft competition was organized by the Sports & Arts Committee respectively.
Suryanamaskar was organized in association with Bharathi Yoga Sansthan, Ghaziabad. All the participants were provided with refreshments thereafter.
Following ARTS competitions were organized:
Students were asked to bring their art work on the theme “75 years of Indian Freedom Struggle”. The drawings were displayed & submitted in college campus and judged byour Vice Chancellor. Following students were awarded with medals and certificates.
Amidst the heavy curriculum of a College academics students got a chance to recall their childhood via this Craft competition. Students brought their artistic craft work which were displayed in the campus area. Best craft work was awarded to
Races were organized for girls and boys separately which involved several hurdles. Prizes were awarded to the winners.
