Santosh Deemed to be University organised field visit to CHC Muradnagar

Department of Community Medicine, Santosh Deemed to be University organised field visit to CHC Muradnagar as part of foundation course for newly enrolled first year students on 23 November 2022. Assistant professor Dr. Kshitij Chaudhary, Post Graduate student Dr. Priyanka Verma and health worker Mr. Rajesh accompanied the students. Dr. Kshitij taught the students about basic concept of Community Medicine, 3 tier health care system of India, role of ASHA and Anganwadi workers and health services provided at different levels of health care. The students observed the operating of the health centre, staffing pattern and infrastructure. They were also given a basic idea of cold chain equipment and DOTS centre present in CHC Muradnagar.
