On 21. 10. 2023 The post graduate students and interns posted in community medicine department educated school going girls about menstrual hygiene, usage of sanitary pads, hazards of unhygienic menstrual practices, Government schemes like Kishori Shakti Yojana and Menstrual hygiene scheme and myths and taboos related to menstruation in the society. We also distributed sanitary napkins among them. The efforts were highly appreciated by the school authority.
