Saraswati Puja

On February 14, 2024, the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja was celebrated at Promila Hall, Santosh Dental College, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event, organized by the college administration, brought together students, faculty members, and esteemed leaders of the institution to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the patron deity of knowledge and wisdom. The event commenced at 2:00 PM, with students and faculty members gathering at Promila Hall to partake in the sacred rituals and festivities. Notable personalities such as Dr. Akshay Bhargava and Dr. Rajiv Ahluwalia, along with other esteemed leaders of the college, graced the occasion with their presence, adding to the auspiciousness of the event. The venue was adorned with flowers, garlands and rangoli. The idol of Goddess Saraswati was so beautiful which captivated everyone present there with a radiant pleasure. Dress code for the event was ethnic. The collective embrace of ethnic attire by all participants added an extra layer of authenticity and charm to the puja.  Under the guidance of priest, the Saraswati Puja rituals were conducted with solemnity and devotion. Prayers were offered to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for knowledge, wisdom, and academic success. The chanting of mantras filled the hall with a sense of spirituality, as offerings were made to the goddess seeking her blessings for intellect, wisdom, and academic success.  As a symbol of divine blessings, prasad was distributed among all attendees, fostering a sense of unity and goodwill among the participants. The highlight of the event was the recognition of the best-dressed individuals. Dr. Sarthak Garg [BDS 19-20] and Dr. Arushi Jain [MDS were awarded the prestigious title of best-dressed male and female, respectively, adding an element of fun and excitement to the festivities. May her blessings continue to guide and inspire the academic journey of all associated with our Santosh family.
