School Camp Happy Hour Girls School

Department of Periodontics & Oral Implantology in collaboration with Department of Public Health Dentistry conducted a free dental check-up camp plus DHC course awareness session on 10/4/23 at Happy Hours School, Ghaziabad. Priyanka Agarwal (Professor) counselled the biology students of class 12th for DHC course as a career option and created awareness about the same.

The camp was conducted by the following Faculty, PG Students and Interns:-

Awareness of oral health of the students was increased by education and motivation, how to do tooth brushing (brushing technique) was instructed to students.

A free diagnostic check-up and screening was done, following which the required treatment module was explained.

Students and some nearby parents interacted with the dental team to enquire and gain knowledge concerning oral diseases.

On completion of the dental check-up each student was given a Patient Card, a report summary of the diagnosed problem and the recommended dental treatment plan along with treatment facilities available in Santosh Dental College and Hospital.

Patients were counselled and referred to Santosh Dental College and Hospital for treatment for their dental care.
