Santosh Dental College and Hospital organized a college trip for BDS students in which 16 interns and 9 BDS Final year, 3 BDS 3rd year, 7 BDS 2nd year students participated. The trip was coordinated by 3 faculty members Dr. Neeraj Grover, Dr. Kanika Bhalla & Dr. Shreya Singh from Santosh Dental College & Hospital, Ghaziabad to Dharmshala and McLeod Ganj.
On 26th April 2023, In the evening we all departed from Majnu Ka Tilla, Delhi to Manali for an excursion. 27th April 2023 – Reached Dharmshala, McLeod Ganj and stayed at Dalhousi Resort, after relaxing and having the buffet breakfast at the resort went for local sightseeing including Bhagsunath temple and fall, church and monesty. Then in the evening after dinner at the resort a bonfire was organized where games such as antakshari were played by the students and the faculty members.
28th April 2023, Pathri Temple, mall road, tea garden, War memorial, Sunset point. 29th April 2023 visited Tibetan market for shopping local sight-seeing, did adventurous activities such as paragliding, Rope way (Cable Car), Zip line, etc. and had delicious Tibetan cuisine. On 30th April 2023 - Reached Majnu ka Tilla, Delhi in the morning.
Tour gave students a refreshing, adventurous, nostalgic & tremendous learning & memorable experience.
