VPD & AFP Surveillance Sensitization Workshop

VPD & AFP Surveillance Sensitization workshop was conducted in Santosh Hospital on 30 June 2023 , organised by Department of Paediatrics in association with WHO Country Office Ghaziabad.

In this program effective spontaneous reporting of adverse events following immunization was discussed by Dr. Abhishek Shankar , Surveillance Medical Officer . Also importance of repoting cases like fever with rashes , acute flacid paralysis , neonatal tetanus ,etc were discussed .The workshop was concluded by speech given by CMO Ghaziabad , Dr. Bhavtosh Shankdhar on the importance of reporting such cases. Finally vote of thanks was given by Dr. Veenu Agarwal HOD Paediatrics Department

Our Chief Patron in this event was Dr. Alka Agarwal and Dr. Alpana Agarwal, Dr Manish Sabharwal, our Patrons , whose support made this event a success.The Whole event was followed by lunch and discussion over this topic.This event was attended by Department of Paediatrics and also Faculty’s from different Departments.
