WORLD AIDS DAY is observed on 1st December to promote awareness, empowerment and to equalize divison, disparity and disregard for human rights and suggest action for improving the quality of life for people with AIDS.
Department of Dermatology organized an online CME and Awareness Program on the occasion of WORLD AIDS DAY on 1st December, 2022, 11:30 – 12:15 PM at Santosh Hospital, Ghaziabad.
Dr. V. K. Garg (Professor & HoD) initiated the session and introduced this year’s theme “Equalize”. Dr.Gulshant Panesar emphasized on the current Status & Burden of AIDS , Dr. Sonali saxena (Senior Resident) briefly discussed about the challenges in management of AIDS , Dr. Sheraun Karira (Junior Resident) elaborated on social empowerment of people affected with AIDS. Finally, Dr V. K. Garg took up questions from the audience and concluded the session.
It was a very informative session with good audience participation, making it a successful event.
