Santosh dental college celebrated World Bioethics Day from 19th to 21st April 2023. Under the esteemed guidance of Dean Dental Dr Akshay Bhargava sir and Associate dean Dr Rajiv Ahluwalia sir, a logo designing competition was organized on 19/4/23 on the occasion of Bioethics Day. The theme of the competition was Bioethics in Dentistry. The organizing team coordinating for this event consisted of Dr Priyanka Aggarwal (Professor, Department of Periodontics & Oral Implantology), Dr Shreya Singh (Reader, Department of Oral and maxillofacial Pathology), Dr Vaishali and Dr Mona. A large number of undergraduates, postgraduates and paradental students participated actively in the event. We received a total of 33 entries from the participants. The logos were judged on different grounds such as relevance, description, appeal, uniqueness and effectiveness. Students came up with many different and unique ideas. The judges of the event were Dr Shweta Bali & Dr. Natasha Gambhir. The winner of the competition was 1st Year BDS student, Akshat Kushwaha and was awarded Rs 2000/ as cash while the first and second runner up were felicitated in maharaja hall during celebration of bioethics day on 21/4/23.
