World Hepatitis day poster competition for MBBS students

Department of Pathology Conducted a poster competition for MBBS students on wolrd hepatitis day The topic was presented by MBBS students in pathology The Day is an opportunity to step up national and international efforts on hepatitis, encourage actions and engagement by individuals, partners and the public and highlight the need for a greater global response. Hepatitis causes liver damage and cancer and kills over a million people annually.2

The programme was Started by an introduction and relevance of the topic by Dr Mansi jain . This was followed by poster presentation & discussion. The theme for this year's World Hepatitis Day, “One Life, One Liver” seeks to emphasize the link between viral hepatitis infection and liver inflammation—that is, liver injury and damage—and the broader issues of liver health and primary health care.The session included hand on microscopy sessions on a routine and special cases of Hematology and was well received by the post graduates.
