Message from the Dean Research:
The nature of research activity in a medical university defines the intellectual climate of the institution. Experimental investigation of the mechanisms and consequences of human disease and trauma provides insight for developing novel strategies to maintain wellness and treat sickness.
The role of the Research Unit of Santosh Deemed to be University is to drive a strategy that supports individual scientists and research staff with their facilities and administrative needs. To facilitate this vision, Santosh deemed to be a university provides research support in terms of academic databases. A professional development fund and Academic Research Grant enable faculty to pursue quality research. An attractive reward system is in place to encourage quality publications.
Santosh Deemed to be University intends to build on its potential, and entrepreneurial spirit to raise its research productivity in selected fields and to lead the graduate and postgraduate education with a clear vision to be among the top private universities, in Pan India.
The faculty has fostered a very strong research culture and is host to a number of research programmes. A strong culture of collaboration exists at all levels through the faculty, allowing vital links across faculty, between faculties and with other tertiary research institutions.
