I,with immense pleasure, welcome you to the Santosh Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad, NCR Delhi where your journey starts towards an important goal to become a good Doctor to serve humanity. The Santosh Deemed to be University is situated in the sprawling vast area surrounded with great educational vision and is located in the National Capital Region (NCR) Delhi, in Ghaziabad and is listed as one of the top 10 dynamic cities of the world by Newsweek, June ’08 issue. Santosh Deemed to be University – Ghaziabad serves as a unique institution delivering quality medical / dental education and services with a smile. A number of institutions function under the auspices of Santosh Deemed to be University providing excellent academic and infrastructural facilities.

Santosh Medical & Dental College Hospitals which was established in 1995 has played a crucial role in setting high standards of excellence in Medical Education and ethical practices in a short span of 24 years. It is a matter of great pride to say that University Grant Commission has granted the Deemed University status in 2007 and NAAC has accredited the University. The Institution since than has grown into a big campus as “SANTOSH DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY”. This has been possible because of dedicated faculty, team approach and above all due to the dynamic & humane leadership of our Chairman – Dr. P. Mahalingam and Vice Chairman Dr. Santosh Mahalingam, a great educationist. We look forward in providing ‘quality based globally acceptable medical education’ which is affordable & accessible so as to produce health care providers with humane touch.

Profile:

• M.A in Public Administration from Himachal University in 2000
• Diploma in Administrative Law in 1992 in from Institute of Law, New Delhi.
• Passed M. Phil in Public Administration in December 2009 in from Global Open University.
• Ph.D. – Doctor of Philosophy in Management in September 2017 with 2 research publications in Index Journals.

Having about 25 years Supervisory Experience to my credit since 1987 in the capacity of Asstt. Administrative Officer and Administrative Officer (13 ½ years) and Registrar since September 2000 to January 2012 at AIIMS, New Delhi.

After Superannuation from the services of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi I joined in 2012 as Registrar, Santosh Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad ( NCR Delhi).

The Rotary Vocational Award awarded by the Rotary Club of Delhi (North) for devotion to my duties, maintaining ethical standards in the vocation and in public services.
