Established in 1995, the Department of Anaesthesia, Critical Care, and Pain Medicine has grown to become a leader in the field, offering a total of 10 MD seats annually. The MD program started in 2006 with 4 seats, increased to 7 in 2020, and then to 10 in 2022. A Diploma in Anaesthesia was introduced in 2010, running until 2019 with 3 seats.
Our department is distinguished by its commitment to providing some of the best and most affordable critical care services in the Delhi NCR region. We are a trusted referral center for critical care, even receiving referrals from corporate hospitals. The department boasts a team of experienced faculty and three full-time senior consultants in critical care, with a cumulative experience of over 39 years. We offer comprehensive anaesthesia services, including pain management and palliative care, ensuring a holistic approach to patient well-being.
