The Department of Emergency Medicine, established in 2022, is dedicated to providing cutting-edge education and training in emergency care. We offer an MD program with 3 seats, having successfully trained a total of 6 postgraduate students to date. In addition, we launched the B.Sc. in Emergency Medicine & Trauma Care Technology in 2023, initially with 20 seats per semester, which has now expanded to 25 seats per semester. To date, we have enrolled a total of 45 students in this program.
Our department stands out for several key features: first, our Integrated Emergency Department exposes residents to a diverse patient population, fostering comprehensive clinical skills. Second, we provide exclusive hands-on training in Point of Care Ultrasonography, equipping students with essential diagnostic tools. Third, our interactive teaching methods, including frequent simulations, enhance learning engagement. Additionally, our Integrated ER-ICU facilitates the teaching of critical care skills through a continuum of care, and residents rotate through various departments, including Critical Care ICU, to broaden their expertise
